The Resident assumes these responsibilities which include the following prior to and during their residency:<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_toggle title=&#8221;1. Complete a Master&#8217;s Level CAAHEP Accredited Orthotist\/Prosthetist Education Program&#8221; admin_label=&#8221;Complete a masters&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.0.7&#8243;]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To view a list of CAAHEP accredited orthotist\/prosthetist programs, please visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/dev.ncope.org\/index.php\/home-page-v2\/academic-programs\/future-and-current-student-information\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Future\/Current Student Information page<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Internationally educated orthotists\/prosthetists must submit their transcripts via the World Education Service (WES) Education Evaluation.\u00a0 <strong>The evaluation must clearly identify that a master&#8217;s degree or higher in orthotics and prosthetics was awarded<\/strong>.\n<ul>\n<li>Additional resources for internationally trained orthotic and prosthetic professionals: <a href=\"https:\/\/dev.ncope.org\/index.php\/home-page-v2\/residency-and-professional-experiences\/op-residency-future-and-current-residents\/residency-foreign-educated-students-2\/\">Foreign Educated O&amp;P School Graduates<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Late submissions may incur a change in the start and end dates of the residency program.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle title=&#8221;2. Submit the NCOPE Resident Registration Form a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the residency start date.&#8221; admin_label=&#8221;Resident Registration Form&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.0.7&#8243;]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Resident Registration Form:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dev.ncope.org\/index.php\/home-page-v2\/residency-and-professional-experiences\/residency-resident-registration-form\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Resident Registration Form<\/a>\n<ul>\n<li>Current registration fees:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dev.ncope.org\/index.php\/home-page-v2\/residency-and-professional-experiences\/residency-fees-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Residency Registration and Accreditation Fees<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Registered residents must submit no later than 30 days after the first day of their residency:\n<ul>\n<li>A sealed official copy of their Orthotic &amp; Prosthetic Master&#8217;s degree transcripts <strong>OR<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>An electronic transcript generated by the academic program&#8217;s registrar to <strong>info@ncope.org<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Internationally trained orthotists\/prosthetists must submit their transcripts via the World Education Service (WES) Education Evaluation.\n<ul>\n<li>Additional resources for internationally trained orthotic and prosthetic professionals: <a href=\"https:\/\/dev.ncope.org\/index.php\/home-page-v2\/residency-and-professional-experiences\/op-residency-future-and-current-residents\/residency-foreign-educated-students-2\/\">Foreign Educated O&amp;P School Graduates<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Late submissions may incur a change in the start and end dates of the residency program.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle title=&#8221;3. Participate in patient care, under supervision, commensurate with his\/her level of  advancement and responsibility and adhere to policies and procedures of the residency site. &#8221; admin_label=&#8221;Patient Care&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.0.7&#8243;]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Patient care provided by the resident and the mentor must be consistent with current clinical care guidelines and accepted standards of practice which are established through accreditation of the practice.<\/li>\n<li>The resident must be given progressively increasing responsibility in the delivery of patient<br \/>care services based upon demonstrated clinical competence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle title=&#8221;4. Maintain comprehensive procedure logs using NCOPE Tracker.&#8221; admin_label=&#8221;Case Logs &#8211; Tracker&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.0.7&#8243;]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All patient interactions equal to or greater than 15 minutes in duration must be logged over the entire duration of the residency.<\/li>\n<li>Case entries must be performed no more than 2 weeks after the patient interaction occurs.<\/li>\n<li>All fields are required with the exception of:\n<ul>\n<li>Outcome Measures<\/li>\n<li>Patient Goals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>The above 2 fields only need to be completed when it is part of the patient encounter.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/dev.ncope.org\/index.php\/home-page-v2\/residency-and-professional-experiences\/ncope-tracker\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NCOPE Tracker Information page<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Resident login for NCOPE Tracker:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ncopetracker.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/ncopetracker.org<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle title=&#8221;5.
